John Dunphy is Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Paratek Pharmaceuticals.
Mr. Dunphy has over 15 years experience in the healthcare sector, serving most of these years as an investment banker,
advising emerging growth companies and transacting private and public offerings.
Mr. Dunphy was most recently with Idenix Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as Chief Financial Officer.
Before beginning a career directly within the pharmaceutical industry Mr. Dunphy accumulated a
wealth of experience on Wall Street having worked at S.G. Cowen Securities for thirteen years as
Managing Director, Equity Capital Markets Group. In his tenure there and at Butcher & Singer as Senior Vice President,
Syndicate Manager, he was instrumental in business transactions that moved forward the business plans and IPO's of
various pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. Mr. Dunphy earned his BA at Boston College and an MBA at Ohio State University.
