Otello Stampacchia is a Director of Paratek Pharmaceuticals. Dr. Stampacchia is Founder and Managing Partner of Omega Funds,
which he founded in early 2004. Previously, Dr. Stampacchia was Partner in charge of life sciences direct investments at
Alpinvest Partners, one of the largest private equity asset managers worldwide. At AlpInvest, Dr. Stampacchia was responsible
for the direct life sciences investments, as well as assisting in due diligence for healthcare venture fund of funds
investments. Before Alpinvest, Dr. Stampacchia was the portfolio manager of the Lombard Odier Immunology Fund, a USD $3bn
listed investment vehicle, investing in public and private healthcare companies worldwide. Previously, Dr. Stampacchia was
a member of the HealthCare corporate finance and M&A team at Goldman Sachs (London and NY offices). Before joining Goldman,
Dr. Stampacchia helped co-found the healthcare investment activities at Index Securities (now Index Ventures). Dr. Stampacchia
has a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Geneva (Switzerland), and a PhD in Biotechnology.
