Paratek has chosen a two-pronged strategy for
commercializing our novel anti-infective and other therapeutic products.
The first prong of Parateks strategy, aimed at the largest
therapeutic markets, is to develop partnerships with established
pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies that have the capability
and substantial infrastructure to successfully market products to
thousands of hospitals and physicians around the world. These partners
would help guide clinical development efforts and interactions with
regulatory agencies and would share the expenses associated with
pharmaceutical development and commercialization.
The second prong of Parateks commercialization
strategy is to commercialize on our own or through co-marketing
arrangements anti-infective products aimed at markets that Paratek
can approach with our own sharply focused development and marketing
effort.
